1⃣ OUR LADY OF GOOD COUNSEL
♦The miracle of Our Lady of Good Counsel took place in Italy in a town south of Rome called Genazzano. The church where the miracle took place, Santa Maria, was already a pilgrimage site where miracles were reported to have happened.
♦In the year 1467, in the midst of the festivities for the Feast of Saint Mark, the townfolk suddenly heard "exquisite music." A mysterious cloud was then said to have descended and obliterated an unfinished wall of the parish church.
♦In front of the populace, the cloud dissipated and a beautiful fresco of the Virgin Mary and the Christ Child was revealed. It was widely believed that it had been miraculously transported from a church in Scutari, Albania, when that area was besieged by the Turks.
♦The picture of Our Lady was at first called "La Madonna del Paradiso" and now better known as "Madonna del Buon Consiglio" (Our Lady of Good Counsel).
♦Several popes have visited the site and have had devotion to Our Lady of Good Counsel, including Pope Urban VIII, Pope Pius IX, Pope Benedict XIV, Pope Leo XIII, and Pope Pius XII. Pope Pius XII wrote a different novena to Our Lady of Good Counsel.
♦Our Lady of Good Counsel is the Patroness of the Missionary Sisters of Saint Peter Claver, the National Council of Catholic Women, and of the Catholic Women's League of Canada.

2⃣ THE DIVINE MERCY NOVENA
We have great news!!!
"OUR GOD - IS RICH IN MERCY!"
ESPECIALLY, on GOOD FRIDAY we focus on GOD'S MERCY which is ⚡SO IMPORTANT IN OUR LIVES⚡!
♦In 1931, a young Polish nun named Sister Faustina Kowalska, saw a vision of Jesus who, with rays of mercy in the form of blood and water streaming forth from His Heart, told her to paint an image of him and sign it, “Jesus, I Trust in You!”
♦Calling her the Secretary of His mercy, Jesus ordered her to also begin writing a diary so others would come to know of his unfathomable mercy.
♦ In a series of revelations that followed from 1931 through 1938, Jesus taught her about His unlimited ocean of mercy available to even the most hardened of sinners, saying “Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet” (Diary 699).
♦THE NOVENA TO DIVINE MERCY
♦Jesus told Sr. Faustina, “I desire that during these nine days you bring souls to the fountain of My mercy, that from there they may draw strength and refreshment and whatever grace they need in the hardships of life, and especially at the hour of death” (Diary, 1209).
⇒ It is indeed a great privilege to prepare for the DIVINE MERCY FEAST by praying the DIVINE MERCY NOVENA which begins on GOOD FRIDAY, 19th APRIL.
⇒ The Feast of THE DIVINE MERCY IS ON APRIL 28, WHICH IS ALSO CALLED DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY!
