St. John Bosco, by God's grace you preserved within yourself an overwhelming love for purity and preached it by word and example. You led Dominic Savio to holiness while he was still a schoolboy. Obtain for me the grace to be pure of heart and so through my own way of life, to let others see the joy of the life in friendship with Christ.

PRAYER: God our Father, it was your will that through the intercession of the Virgin Mary, St. John Bosco should raise up new families in the Church who would work for the salvation of young people; grant, we pray you, that we too burning with the same fire of love, may seek souls and serve you alone, through Christ our Lord. PRAYER: O, inaccessible light of supernatural truth that illuminates our being with its celestial splendor and leads us to Thee, illuminate our minds with the light of the firm and living faith. It was such a faith that moved Our Mother of Good Success to show herself to the eyes of that blessed Conceptionist religious Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres.. Because we are anxious to enjoy the supernatural goods, help us to be less concerned about the things of this earth. With the protection of Holy Mary and a constant and sure faith in the revealed mysteries, help us to live contemplating the brilliance of our final end and anticipating the joy of seeing Thee and Mary Most Holy for all eternity. Amen.

O St. Blaise, inspire us always to be humble in spirit, to be meek and lowly so that we may merit the promise of eternal life promised by Jesus to all his followers. May the beatitudes permeate our lives. May we reflect to others the beauty of being poor, meek, and humble in the name of Jesus. We ask you, dear saint, to intercede for us before Jesus so that he may pour on us the Holy Spirit.

PRAYER: St. Blaise, gracious benefactor of mankind and faithful servant of God, who for the love of our Savior suffered many tortures with patience and resignation; I invoke your powerful intercession. Preserve me from all evils of body and soul. Because of your special merits, God has given you special graces to help those who suffer from ills of the throat. Relieve and preserve me from them, so that I may always be able to fulfill my duties and with the aid of God's grace, perform good works. I invoke your help as special physician of souls that I may confess my sins sincerely in the holy sacrament of penance and obtain their forgiveness. Amen.
