THE MAGI IN ANTICIPATION OF THE EPIPHANY

♦ The feast of the Manifestation or Epiphany, is traditionally celebrated on January 6th, the 12th day after Christmas. In many dioceses this feast has been moved to the Sunday between January 2 and January 8.

♦ Epiphany comes from the Greek verb meaning "to reveal". All of the various events celebrated by the Feast of the Epiphany are revelations of Christ to man.

♦ There is an Armenian tradition identifying the "Magi of Bethlehem" as Balthasar, Melchior and Gaspar.

⇒ We begin praying this NOVENA from FRIDAY, DECEMBER 29th.

⇒ The Feast of THE MAGI IN ANTICIPATION OF THE EPIPHANY is on JANUARY 7th!
