NOVENA TO ST. LUCY

DAY 9 - DECEMBER 12

TODAY WE PRAY FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM COMMON EYE PROBLEMS SUCH AS BLURRY VISION, SPOTS, GLARE AT NIGHT, FLASHING LIGHTS, ETC.

Dearest Saint Lucy, your name means light; by the light of faith which God bestowed upon you, increase and preserve his light in my soul, so that I may avoid evil, be zealous in the performance of good works, and abhor nothing so much as the blindness and the darkness of evil and sin.

Please obtain for me from God perfect vision for my bodily eyes and the grace to use them for God's greater honor and glory and for the salvation of souls.

St. Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, hear my prayers and obtain what I ask through Christ Our Lord. Amen.

St. Lucy intercede for the people who suffer from common eye problems that the Lord's mercy may come upon them and they may be healed.

Relying on Your goodness, O God, we humbly ask You, through the intercession of Saint Lucy, Virgin and Martyr, to give perfect vision to our eyes, to our minds, and to our hearts that our eyesight and insight may serve Your greater honor and glory.

Saint Lucy, hear our prayers and obtain for us from God all that we need and desire. Amen.
