1⃣ 30 DAYS PRAYERS IN NOVEMBER FOR THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY
DAY 28 - NOVEMBER 28
In Purgatory, the just and loving soul loses sight of everything but the purity of God, which it loves and the necessity of making itself worthy of this purity. This suffering is so intense, because it is ignorant of the length of its exile from the sight of God.
Pray 1 Our Father... 3 Hail Marys... 1 Glory be...
DE PROFUNDIS
PSALM 129 (130)
V. Out of the depths, I have cried to Thee, O Lord, Lord, hear my voice.
R. Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
V. If Thou, O Lord, shalt mark my iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand it?
R. For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of Thy law I have waited for Thee, O Lord.
V. My soul hath relied on His word; my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
R. From the morning watch even until night; let Israel hope in the Lord.
V. Because with the Lord there is mercy; and with Him plenteous redemption.
R. And He shall redeem Israel from all its iniquities.
V. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord,
R. and let perpetual light shine upon them:
V. May they rest in peace
R. Amen.
LET US PRAY: Jesus meek and humble of Heart, hear our prayers on behalf of the souls suffering in Purgatory, particularly those paying the debt exacted for pride. Release them from their pain today, that they may evermore glorify Thee in Heaven and intercede for us in the hour of need. Amen.
PRAYER OF SAINT GERTRUDE THE GREAT FOR THE HOLY SOULS IN PURGATORY
(A prayer which would release many souls from Purgatory each time it is recited)
Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen.

2⃣ PRAYING WITH ST. FRANCIS XAVIER
DAY 5 - NOVEMBER 28
“GOD OUR LORD GIVES TO ALL SUFFICIENT GRACE TO SERVE HIM AND TO PRESERVE THEMSELVES FROM SIN . . . ALL OUR GOOD AND EVIL CONSISTS IN MAKING GOOD OR EVIL USE OF HIS GRACE. WE ARE MUCH CONSOLED IN SEEING THAT GOD OUR LORD SEES OUR INTENTIONS, DESIRES AND MOTIVES FOR GOING TO JAPAN.” (Letter to the Jesuits of Europe from Malacca in Malaysia, 22nd June 1549).
Reflect on the strengths of character with which God has blessed you.
How do you use these strengths for the good?
How do you sometimes use them for evil?
Lord Jesus, it is so easy to be tempted as you were tempted in the desert; to make poor decisions for quick gains and satisfaction; to turn the wonderful gifts of your generosity to unworthy and selfish ends.
Give me, day by day, the same Spirit of strength with which you faced down those desert temptations of power, wealth and honour; that my desire and motives, my words and actions, may always be to the greater glory of God my Lord. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
