1⃣ NOVENA TO ST. TERESA OF AVILA
DAY 8 - OCTOBER 13
WE ASK CHRIST FOR THE DESIRE FOR DEATH. BY THIS, WE DO NOT MEAN DESPAIR, BUT A DESIRE TO BE WITH CHRIST IN HEAVEN (which the prayer refers to as the "country of the blessed").
PRAYER: O most beloved Lord Jesus Christ! we thank Thee for the eminent gift of the desire for death which Thou didst grant to Thy beloved Teresa; we pray Thee, by Thy merits, and by those of Thy most constant spouse, to grant us the grace of desiring death, in order to go and possess Thee eternally in the country of the blessed. (Note: In the first verse of the prayer, the phrase "Thy most constant spouse" refers to the Church, the Bride of Christ).
(State your intentions here...)
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
V. St. Teresa, pray for us.
R. That we may become worthy of the promises of Jesus Christ.
LET US PRAY: Graciously hear us, O God of our salvation! that as we rejoice in the commemoration of the blessed virgin Teresa, so we may be nourished by her heavenly doctrine, and draw from thence the fervor of a tender devotion; through our Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Son, Who liveth and reigneth with Thee in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God for ever and ever. Amen.

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. MARGARET MARY ALACOQUE
DAY 7 - OCTOBER 13
REFLECTION - ARE YOU MAKING NO PROGRESS IN PRAYER? THEN YOU NEED ONLY OFFER GOD THE PRAYERS WHICH THE SAVIOR HAS POURED OUT FOR US IN THE SACRAMENT OF THE ALTAR. OFFER GOD HIS FERVENT LOVE IN REPARATION FOR YOUR SLUGGISHNESS. - St. Margaret Mary Alacoque
PRAYER: Saint Margaret Mary, thou who wast made a partaker of the divine treasures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, obtain for us, we beseech thee, from this adorable Heart, the graces we need so sorely.
(State your intentions here...)
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
We ask these favors of thee with unbounded confidence. May the divine Heart of Jesus be pleased to bestow them upon us through thy intercession, so that once again He may be loved and glorified through thee. Amen.
V. Pray for us, O St. Margaret Mary
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY: O Lord Jesus Christ, who didst wondrously open the unsearchable riches of Thy Heart to blessed Margaret Mary, the virgin: grant unto us, by her merits and our imitation of her, that we may love Thee in all things and above all things, and may be worthy to have our everlasting dwelling in the same Sacred Heart who livest and reignest, world without end. Amen.

3⃣ NOVENA TO ST. GERARD MAJELLA
DAY 7 - OCTOBER 13
Saint Gerard, unconquered hero, most patient in suffering, you who did glory in infirmity, and under slander and most cruel ignominy did rejoice to suffer with Christ, obtain for me patience and resignation in my sorrows, that I may bravely bear the cross that is to gain for me the crown of everlasting glory.
(State your intentions here...)
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
V. Pray for us, O Saint Gerard
R. That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.
LET US PRAY: Almighty and Everlasting God, who did draw to Yourself Saint Gerard, even from his tenderest years, making him conformable to the Image of Your Crucified Son, grant we beseech You, that imitating his example, we may be made like unto the same Divine Image, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

4⃣ NOVENA TO ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II
DAY 1 - OCTOBER 13
“THE FUTURE STARTS TODAY, NOT TOMORROW”
Dear St. John Paul II, you told us: “The future starts today, not tomorrow.” So, as we start our nine days with you, thank you for reminding me that with God's Help, I can start again, but I need to start now, not at some point in the future. Your words are encouraging and motivating to me. Please be with me as I progress through these nine days in prayer with you.
PRAYER: Merciful God, accept our thanksgiving for the gift of St. John Paul II's apostolic life and mission and through his intercession, please grant us this petition (mention your petition). Grant us also to grow in love for you and proclaim boldly the love of Christ to all people, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
O Blessed Trinity, we thank you for having graced the Church with St. John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care, the glory of the Cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Spirit of love to shine through him. Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy, and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living example of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with You. Amen.
Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
St. John Paul II: Pray for us!
