1⃣ NOVENA TO ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

DAY 7 - SEPTEMBER 24

SOBRIETY - REFLECTION

“You should not worry about the future; spend what you are accustomed to spend throughout the year, and, if anything is leftover, bring it to the Motherhouse to help to form Sisters for the service of the poor.” (St. Vincent, January 25, 1643, IX, Conference 13)

PRAYER: St. Vincent, man of God, gifted with sobriety, be with us as we enter into the reality that “the more” comes only from depthing the riches found in the heart of God.

(State your intentions here...)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

Bless us as we open ourselves to the abundance which comes from the inexhaustible reservoir of God's divine love. Amen.

St. Vincent De Paul: Pray for us!

2⃣ NOVENA TO MARY UNDOER OF KNOTS

DAY 6 - SEPTEMBER 24

Queen of Mercy, I entrust to you this knot in my life (mention your petition here...) and I ask you to give me a heart that is patient until you undo it.

Virgin Mary, Mother of fair love, Mother who never refuses to come to the aid of a child in need, Mother whose hands never cease to serve your beloved children because they are moved by the divine love and immense mercy that exist in your heart, cast your compassionate eyes upon me and see the snarl of knots that exists in my life. You know very well how desperate I am, my pain, and how I am bound by these knots. Mary, Mother to whom God entrusted the undoing of the knots in the lives of his children, I entrust into your hands the ribbon of my life. No one, not even the evil one himself, can take it away from your precious care. In your hands there is no knot that cannot be undone. Powerful Mother, by your grace and intercessory power with Your Son and My Liberator, Jesus, take into your hands today this knot.

(Mention your petition here...)

I beg you to undo it for the glory of God, once for all. You are my hope.

O my Lady, you are the only consolation God gives me, the fortification of my feeble strength, the enrichment of my destitution, and, with Christ, the freedom from my chains. Hear my plea. Keep me, guide me, protect me, o safe refuge! Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

Mary, Undoer of Knots: Pray for me!

3⃣ NOVENA TO ST. MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL

DAY 5 - SEPTEMBER 24

OPENING PRAYER: St. Michael the Archangel, we honor you as a powerful protector of the Church and guardian of our souls. Inspire us with your humility, courage and strength that we may reject sin and perfect our love for our Heavenly Father.

In your strength and humility, slay the evil and pride in our hearts so that nothing will keep us from God.

St. Michael the Archangel, pray that we may have the moral strength to defeat disordered desires and passions that would take the place of Almighty God.

CLOSING PRAYER: St. Michael the Archangel, you are the prince of angels but in your humility, you recognized that God is God and you are but His servant. Unlike Satan, you were not overcome with pride but were steadfast in humility. Pray that we will have this same humility.

It is in the spirit of that humility that we ask for your intercession for our petitions…

(State your intentions here...)

“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.” Amen.

4⃣ NOVENA TO ST. THÉRÈSE OF THE CHILD JESUS AND OF THE HOLY FACE

DAY 3 - SEPTEMBER 24

O Therese of the Child Jesus, lily of purity, ornament and glory of Carmel, I greet you, great saint, seraph of divine love. I rejoice in the favours our Lord so liberally bestowed on you. In humility and confidence I ask you to help me, for I know God has given you love and pity as well as power. Tell Him, now, I beseech you, of the favour I seek in this novena. Your request will crown my petition with success and bring joy to my heart. Remember your promise to do good here on earth. “I shall spend my heaven doing good on the Earth. After death I shall let fall a shower of roses.”

(State your intentions here...)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

PRAYER: O St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, who during your short life on earth became a mirror of angelic purity, of love strong as death, and of wholehearted abandonment to God, now that you rejoice in the reward of your virtues, cast a glance of pity on me as I leave all things in your hands. Make my troubles your own, speak a word for me to Our Lady Immaculate, whose flower of special love you were -- to that Queen of Heaven “who smiled on you at the dawn of life.” Beg her powerful intercession the grace I yearn for so ardently at this moment...and that she join with it a blessing that may strengthen me during life, defend me at the hour of death, and lead me straight on to a happy eternity.

O God, who did inflame with the Spirit of Love, the soul of your servant Thérèse of the Child Jesus, grant that we also may love you and make you much loved. Amen.

St. Therese of the Child Jesus: Pray for us!

5⃣ NOVENA TO THE GUARDIAN ANGELS

DAY 2 - SEPTEMBER 24

Loving God, you are so good that you gave me a Guardian Angel to protect my body and my soul. Help me to know and follow my angel so that, with their guidance, I will be worthy of being in Heaven with You!

My sweet Guardian Angel, you are my defender every day of my life. Protect me from sin and bodily harm. Help me to learn to defend and protect myself so that I can be the person that God is calling me to be.

You are with me all the time so you already know these my intentions that I ask you to deliver to the Lord.

(State your intentions here...)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

My Guardian Angel, my Defender, protect me! Amen.
