O God, source of strength and courage, you gave your beloved preacher, St. Nicholas of Tolentino, the conviction of faith to the very end.
Grace us with the ability to translate your teaching into action, remain patient amid hardship, serve the poor and those who suffer, and live as your true and faithful servants.

PRAYER: Grant, we beseech Thee, O Almighty God, that Thy Church, which is made illustrious with the glory of the prodigies and miracles of Saint Nicholas, Thy Blessed confessor, may, by his merits and intercession enjoy perpetual unity and peace. Amen.

TEACH US TO BE PATIENT AS WE ENDURE THE INSULTS AND HARSH WORDS OF PEOPLE WHO DON'T LIKE US. HELP US TO RESPOND WITH SILENCE AND GIVE US THE GRACE THAT WE MAY PRAY FOR THEM SO WE MAY HELP YOU REDEEM OUR TROUBLED WORLD.
PRAYER: Dear Jesus, your love for your Father and for the whole world brought you to the cross. Gazing upon the cross helps us to remember your bitter Passion and we thank you for your great sacrifice.
Lord Jesus, in remembrance of your sorrowful Passion and Death, please look down upon us and grant the petition we ask for…

O Jesus, your cross is life-giving! Your death and resurrection brought us salvation. Send us the Holy Spirit while we praise You and meditate on the meaning of your death. Through the Holy Spirit, open our hearts so that we may be able to know that without sacrifice, we can never be your disciples. Through Your Holy Cross, save us. Amen.

PRAY FOR ALL CHILDREN
The eyes of a child are an infinite well of life, hope and goodness. If you doubt the value of life, look into the eyes of a child. If you are worn by life's worries, look into the eyes of a child. If you want to see tomorrow, look into the eyes of a child, and what you will see is the divine spark which brought beauty out of chaos, the infinite beauty, which is the presence of the Creator in his creation.

Everything that I try to learn in life will be offered in service to God.
