1⃣ NOVENA TO ST. CHARBEL MAKHLOUF

DAY 9 - JULY 23

Oh, Saint Charbel, here I am at the end of the Novena. My heart gets nourished when I speak to you. I have great hope that I will obtain from Jesus the grace I asked for through your intercession. I repent, and I promise that I will never ever fall into sin. I ask you to fulfill my demand (State your intentions here...).

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

PRAYER: Oh, Lord, you listened to Saint Charbel's prayers, and you fulfilled the grace of being with you, have mercy on me in my moment of distress. Save me from malice which I cannot bear. Glory and gratefulness be to you till the end. Amen.

Oh, St. Charbel: crowned with glory, intercede for me!

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. ANNE

DAY 7 - JULY 23

O Good Saint Anne, so justly called the mother of the infirm, the cure for those who suffer from disease, look kindly upon the sick for whom I pray. Alleviate their sufferings; cause them to sanctify their sufferings by patience and complete submission to the Divine Will; finally deign to obtain health for them and with it the firm resolution to honor Jesus, Mary, and yourself by the faithful performance of duties.

But, merciful Saint Anne, I ask you above all for the salvation of my soul, rather than bodily health, for I am convinced that this fleeting life is given us solely to assure us a better one. I cannot obtain that better life without the help of God's graces. I earnestly beg them of you for the sick and for myself, especially the petition for which I am making in this novena…

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

…through the merits of our Lord Jesus Christ, through the intercession of His Immaculate Mother, and through your efficacious and powerful mediation, I pray. Amen.

3⃣ NOVENA TO ST. ALPHONSA

DAY 5 - JULY 23

HUMILITY

O Jesus who said, “Learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart”, (Mt.1/29) teach us the lesson of humility of heart. Lord Jesus we beseech you with St. Alphonsa, liberate us from the desires to be loved and honoured, deliver us from the evil attempts to win fame and respect, help us to use our time, wealth and abilities for the well-being and benefit of others, with the firm conviction that whatever we have is your benevolent gift. Enable us to see you in our authorities, obey and respect them. Help us to lead a life of true humility, truth and justice and make us worthy to inherit heavenly reward. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Lord of all, forever. Amen.

(State your intentions here...)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

PRAYER: O Lord, our God, illumine our hearts and minds to hear and understand the sweet voice of Your life-giving and Divine commandments. In Your mercy and grace grant that they bear in us the fruits of love, hope and salvation, beneficial to our body and soul and that we may constantly praise You, Lord of all, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, Lord of all, forever. Amen.

St. Alphonsa: Pray for us!

4⃣ NOVENA TO ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

DAY 2 - JULY 23

FROM THE WRITINGS OF ST. IGNATIUS OF LOYOLA

You are much deceived in thinking that the cause of your unrest and little progress in following the way of the Lord comes from the place where you live, or your superiors, or your brethren. This unrest comes from within you, that is, it comes from your own lack of humility, obedience, and prayer, and finally from a want of mortification and fervor in advancing in the way of perfection. You could have a change in residence, of superiors, and of brethren, but if the interior man is not changed these other changes will do you no good. Everywhere will be the same for you, unless you become humble, obedient, devout, and you mortify your self-love. This is the change you should seek and no other.

(State your intentions here…)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

WITH ST. IGNATIUS WE PRAY

Soul of Christ, sanctify me. Body of Christ, save me. Blood of Christ, inebriate me. Water from the side of Christ, wash me. Passion of Christ, strengthen me. O Good Jesus, hear me. Within Thy wounds hide me. Suffer me not to be separated from thee. From the malignant enemy defend me. In the hour of my death call me. And bid me come unto Thee, That with all Thy saints, I may praise thee forever and ever. Amen.

5⃣ NOVENA TO ST. ALPHONSUS LIGUORI

DAY 1 - JULY 23

“He who prays is certain to be saved, while he who prays not, is certain to be damned. All the saints were saved and came to be saints by praying; all the accursed souls in hell were lost through neglect of prayer.” — St. Alphonsus!

PRAYER: O my glorious and well-beloved patron, Saint Alphonsus, thou who didst toil and suffer so abundantly to assure to men the fruits of the Redemption, behold the miseries of my poor soul and have pity on me. By thy powerful intercession with Jesus and Mary, obtain for me true repentance for my sins together with their pardon and remission, a deep hatred of sin, and strength evermore to resist all temptations. Share with me, I pray, at least a spark of that fire of love wherewith thy heart did ever burn; and grant that, following thy example, I may make the will of God the only rule of my life. Obtain for me likewise a fervent and lasting love of Jesus, and a tender and childlike devotion to Mary, together with the grace to pray without ceasing and to persevere in the service of God even to the end of my life, that so I may finally be united with thee in praising God and most holy Mary through all eternity. Amen.
