FOR PRIESTS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD WHO ANOINT THE SICK AND CARE FOR THE DYING: THAT THEY MAY BE PROTECTED BY THE INTERCESSION OF OUR LADY OF BERICO.
O Most Holy Virgin, Mother of God and my Mother Mary, I thank you that you have deigned to appear on Monte Berico and I thank you for all the graces you grant here to those who turn to you. Nobody ever prayed to you in vain. I, too, resort to you and beg you for the Passion and Death of Jesus and for your pains: welcome me, o' merciful Mother, under your mantle, which is a maternal mantle; grant me the particular grace that I ask of You,

LET US PRAY: Almighty and merciful God, You gave the Polish nation in the Blessed Virgin Mary a Most Admirable helper and protector, and adorned her image at Jasna Gora with the special devotion of the faithful, grant we beseech You, that we might fervently stand in defense of our faith on earth and share in the glory of Your triumph in heaven. DAY 2 - AUGUST 19
TODAY WE PRAY FOR THOSE WHO WERE BAPTIZED CATHOLIC, BUT WERE NOT BLESSED WITH FAMILIES TO GUIDE THEM TO SPIRITUAL MATURITY. MAY THE HOLY SPIRIT GUIDE THEM BACK TO OUR CATHOLIC FAMILY.
PRAYER: Exemplary mother of the Great Augustine, you persevering pursued your wayward son…not with wild threats but with prayerful cries to heaven. Intercede for all mothers in our day so that they may learn to draw their children to God.
Teach us to remain close to all God's children, even the prodigal sons and daughters who have sadly gone astray.
Dear St. Monica, troubled wife and mother, many sorrows pierced your heart during your lifetime. Yet, you never despaired or lost faith. With confidence, persistence, and profound faith, you prayed daily for the conversion of your beloved husband, Patricius and your beloved son, Augustine.
Grant me that same fortitude, patience, and trust in the Lord. Intercede for me, dear St. Monica, that God may favorably hear my plea for (names of those you are praying for) and grant me the grace to accept His will in all things, through Jesus Christ, our Lord, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, One God forever and ever. Amen.

PRAYER: O holy Saint Augustine, who has famously declared that “Our hearts were made for you, O Lord, and they are restless until they rest in you,” aid me in my own search for our Lord that through your intercession I may be granted the wisdom to determine the purpose God has planned for me. Pray that I be blessed with the courage to follow God's will even at times when I do not understand. Ask our Lord to lead me to a life worthy of His love, that I may one day share the riches of His kingdom. Petition our Lord and Savior to ease the burden of my problems and grant my special intention, and I will honour you all of my days. Amen.
