DAY 5 - MAY 25

GOD THE ANOINTED SAVIOR (JESUS)

MEDITATION: “Don't be afraid Mary, God has been gracious to you. You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God.' Mary said to the angel, ‘ I am a virgin, how then can this be?' The angel answered: ‘The Holy Spirit will come on you, and God's power will rest upon you. For this reason, the holy Child will be called the Son of God.”(Lk. 1, 30-35)

ADORER'S PRAYER

(Taught by the Angel of God to the three children at Fatima)

O my God, I believe, I adore, I hope, I love Thee! I ask pardon for those who do not believe, nor adore, nor hope, nor love Thee.

O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly! I offer Thee the Most Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, Present in all the Tabernacles of the world, for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference committed against Thee in which He Himself is offended. Amen.

PHILIP'S MIRACULOUS GIFTS

Philip, my holy Patron, the wounds and diseases of my soul are greater than bodily ones, and are beyond thy curing, even with thy supernatural power. I know that my Almighty Lord reserves in His own hands the recovery of the soul from death, and the healing of all its maladies. But thou canst do more for our souls by thy prayers now, my dear Saint, than thou didst for the bodies of those who applied to thee when thou wast upon earth. Pray for me, that the Divine Physician of the soul, Who alone reads my heart thoroughly, may cleanse it thoroughly, and that I and all who are dear to me may be cleansed from all our sins; and, since we must die, one and all, that we may die, as thou didst, in the grace and love of God, and with the assurance, like thee, of eternal life. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be...

PRAYER: O glorious St. Philip, who wast so favored by God with the gift of consoling and assisting thy spiritual children at the hour of death, be also my advocate and father when I shall find myself at that dreadful moment. Obtain for me that at that hour the devil may not conquer me, nor temptation overcome me, nor fear itself revile me; but that, strengthened by a lively faith, a fervent hope and, a sincere charity, I may sustain with patience and perseverance that supreme struggle, and that, full of confidence in the mercy of the Lord, and in the infinite merits of Jesus Christ and the protection of the Most Blessed Mary, I may deserve to die the death of the just, and be united with thee and all the saints in the blessed home of Paradise, to praise and enjoy the Lord forever. Amen.
