1⃣ NOVENA TO ST. TERESA OF AVILA

DAY 8 - OCTOBER 13

Pray for us, that we may see God's hand in our daily lives.

PRAYER

O most loving Heavenly Father! We thank you for the great gift you gave us through your beloved St. Teresa of Avila, virgin and doctor of the Church. Her life was a great example of prayer, sacrifice and faith in You. We humbly pray for her most holy intercession…

(State your intentions here...)

St. Teresa, we know that you are a powerful intercessor because of your close relationship to the Holy Mother and Jesus through prayer. Open wide the doors to the interior castle of our hearts and souls so that we may know how to pray!

CLOSING PRAYER

St. Teresa of Avila, you are an example of prayerful holiness that we will try to follow. You are in heaven praising God. With your seat of honor, please beg God to bring me to eternal rest with you.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

Saint Teresa of Avila, pray for us! Amen.

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. MARGARET MARY ALACOQUE

DAY 7 - OCTOBER 13

REFLECTION

Are you making no progress in prayer? Then you need only offer God the prayers which the Savior has poured out for us in the sacrament of the altar. Offer God His fervent love in reparation for your sluggishness.

--- St. Margaret Mary Alacoque

PRAYER

Saint Margaret Mary, thou who wast made a partaker of the divine treasures of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, obtain for us, we beseech thee, from this adorable Heart, the graces we need so sorely.

(State your intentions here...)

We ask these favors of thee with unbounded confidence. May the divine Heart of Jesus be pleased to bestow them upon us through thy intercession, so that once again He may be loved and glorified through thee. Amen.

Pray for us, O St. Margaret Mary
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

3⃣ NOVENA TO ST. GERARD MAJELLA

DAY 7 - OCTOBER 13

Saint Gerard, unconquered hero, most patient in suffering, you who did glory in infirmity, and under slander and most cruel ignominy did rejoice to suffer with Christ, obtain for me patience and resignation in my sorrows, that I may bravely bear the cross that is to gain for me the crown of everlasting glory.

Hail Mary...

Pray for us, O Saint Gerard
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

PRAYER

Almighty and Everlasting God, who did draw to Yourself Saint Gerard, even from his tenderest years, making him conformable to the Image of Your Crucified Son, grant we beseech You, that imitating his example, we may be made like unto the same Divine Image, through Jesus Christ Our Lord. Amen.

4⃣ NOVENA TO ST. POPE JOHN PAUL II

DAY 1 - OCTOBER 13

Dear St. John Paul II, you told us: “The future starts today, not tomorrow.” So, as we start our nine days with you, thank you for reminding me that with God's Help, I can start again, but I need to start now, not at some point in the future. Your words are encouraging and motivating to me. Please be with me as I progress through these nine days in prayer with you.

PRAYER

Merciful God, accept our thanksgiving for the gift of St. John Paul's II apostolic life and mission and through his intercession, please, GRANT US THIS PETITION (mention your petition). Grant us also to grow in love for you and proclaim boldly the love of Christ to all people, through Christ, Our Lord. Amen.

O Blessed Trinity, we thank you for having graced the Church with St. John Paul II and for allowing the tenderness of your Fatherly care, the glory of the Cross of Christ, and the splendor of the Spirit of love to shine through him. Trusting fully in Your infinite mercy, and in the maternal intercession of Mary, he has given us a living example of Jesus the Good Shepherd, and has shown us that holiness is the necessary measure of ordinary Christian life and is the way of achieving eternal communion with You. Amen.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...

St. John Paul II, pray for us
