Heavenly Mother, your birth gave great joy to all the world because it signaled the coming of Jesus Christ, who would save the whole world by His life, death and resurrection. Pray for me today that the feast of your birth may give great joy to my soul that I may be exceedingly patient with my family and loved ones.

DAY 8 - SEPTEMBER 6
Hail, Holy Temple of God and seat of wisdom. The Ark of the Covenant was made of cedar and covered with gold. God has adorned you with all graces and immortality. Virgin Mother conceived without original sin, pray for us your poor children that we may also assume our glorious body at the time of our resurrection. Make eternal light enlighten our darkened ways, so that we may wake up and reach safely to our destination. We are your children, entrusted to your motherly care by your Divine Son, while He was on the Cross. Our Dearest Mother protect us, obtain for us all that we need for our soul, and preserve us all in good health. Amen.

DAY 6 - SEPTEMBER 6
Remember, O Lord, the cry of the poor victim who found no pity in the cruel human hearts but found pity in heaven, because he invoked Thy All-Holy Name, and venerated the name of the Saint of Tolentino. Death or sin on the unshriven soul became no obstacle to Thy pitying mercy. O Good Jesus, how wonderful are Thy ways in dealing with human souls. A boundless ocean of merit and mercy surrounds Thy Calvary and Thy Cross, upon which Thou wert immolated by cruel hands. Behold, we turn our eyes to Thee upon the Cross, and upon the altar, and our hearts overflow with a happy confidence. In that confidence we appeal to Thee for mercy upon our own unworthy souls, and for the souls of all the faithful departed. Hear our cry in the moment of death, hear our prayers for the souls in purgatory. Let neither death nor sin, O good Jesus, be an obstacle to their enjoyment of the full blessings of Thy Redemption. Let Thine own merits make amends for their failings, and now, in death take them to Thy Heart in the land of eternal happiness.

DAY 2 - SEPTEMBER 6
Teach us to accept our sufferings, uniting them to your cross. Give us the grace to believe that you are able to draw something good from even the worst situations.
PRAYER
Dear Jesus, your love for your Father and for the whole world brought you to the cross. Gazing upon the cross helps us to remember your bitter Passion and we thank you for your great sacrifice.
Lord Jesus, in remembrance of your sorrowful Passion and Death, please look down upon us and grant the petition we ask for…

O Jesus, your cross is life-giving! Your death and resurrection brought us salvation. Send us the Holy Spirit while we praise You and meditate on the meaning of your death. 5⃣ NOVENA IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY OF SORROWS
DAY 1 - SEPTEMBER 6
PRAY FOR THE SUFFERING WOMEN OF THE WORLD
Labour usually brings to mind images of factory workers, farmers or heavy equipment operators. Yet we also use labour to describe the first work which brought each one of us to birth: those first hours of maternal sacrifice which brought us into the world. It's too easy to forget that and all the other sacrifices which the vocation of motherhood entails. Pray for the mothers in labour today. Those who give birth. Those who work two jobs to support a child. Those who go without so their child's needs are met. Those whose patient endurance is a sign of God's love upon the cross.
PRAYER
God, come to my assistance.
Lord, make haste to help me.

Holy Mother of God, hear the prayers of the Church for all mothers, especially those wearied by life and overcome by the suffering they bear for their children.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate, intercede for them from your place in heaven, that the mercy of your divine Son might lighten their burden and give them strength.
