1⃣ NOVENA TO ST. PATRICK
DAY 8 - MARCH 15
REFLECTION
St. Patrick worked mostly in the western regions of Ireland. It seems obvious that nature in Ireland helped St. Patrick connect with God when, as a young slave, he tended his master's sheep. We too, can draw closer to God through nature, whether we are walking, sailing, gardening, watching birds, tending houseplants or simply relaxing in nature.
PRAYER
God, You have given us a world of great natural wonder and beauty. Too often, God, we have polluted and destroyed our fragile environment. I pray, today, that we will learn to nurture and protect our environment for the enjoyment and use of future generations. I ask You, also, to guide me to make choices that will benefit nature, not harm it. Amen.
Our Heavenly Father sent St. Patrick to preach the Gospel and bring the Holy Eucharist to the people of Ireland. By St. Patrick's intercessory prayer and saintly example, may we always enjoy his protection from every evil. May he always lead us to the truth of the Triune God and the human face of Divine Truth, Jesus Christ our Lord.

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. JOSEPH
DAY 6 - MARCH 15
SAINT JOSEPH, MODEL OF PATIENCE
Consider how Joseph suffered in his life time. He tasted, indeed, ineffable consolations, but he also endured much suffering. In contrast with the glories of his fallen family, his was a life of labour and self-denial. What did he not have to suffer, especially after the Incarnation of the Son of God? It is verily Joseph who experienced that wherever Jesus enters, He comes with His Cross and His Crown of Thorns.
He suffers in perfect conformity with the Divine Will. Joseph renews his courage in the hope of eternal joys and treasures, in the examples of patience which are given him by Jesus and Mary. Thus, whatever may be his trials, they cannot trouble the peace of his soul.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be...
PRAYER
St. Joseph, model of patience, teach me this virtue; which is so necessary in the midst of the sufferings and trials of this sorrowful life. Grant that your example and that of Mary, as well as the hope of celestial joys, may ever renew my courage. Amen.
Glory of home life, pray for us.
Guardian of virgins, pray for us.
Pillar of families, pray for us.
