DAY 8 - JULY 12
Dear St. Camillus, even in the most difficult situations, you always trusted entirely in Divine Providence. Increase my faith in the goodness and power of God in favour of His creatures. May I always put myself in His hands in order to be strong in trials and suffering. Help me remember the last words of Jesus: “I will be with you until the end of time.”
NEVER LOSE HOPE. GOD IS THERE.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be.
PRAYER OF THE SICK: Lord, I come before You in prayer. I know that You hear me, You know me. I know that I am in You and that Your strength is in me. Look at my body racked with infirmity. You know, Lord, how much it hurts me to suffer. I know that You are not pleased with the suffering of Your children.
Give me, Lord, the strength and courage to overcome moments of desperation and exhaustion. Make me patient and understanding. I offer up my worries, anxiety and suffering to be more worthy of You.
Let me, Lord, unite my sufferings with those of Your Son Jesus who for love of men gave His life on the Cross.
Furthermore, I ask You, Lord: Help doctors and nurses take care of the sick with the same dedication and love that St. Camillus had. Amen.

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. BONAVENTURE (PATRON OF BOWEL DISORDER)
DAY 7 - JULY 12
O St. Bonaventure, you chose a life of mortification and great humility. By choosing to serve those who were rejected and sick, you willingly risked illness yourself. You made your life a continuous prayer and spent many hours meditating on the wounds of Christ. Help us to imitate the holiness you showed in choosing to serve God as a Franciscan and in doing all you could to help your fellow Franciscans reach holiness.
St. Bonaventure, the Franciscan order was beset with internal conflicts at the time that you were elected as Minister General. You knew that these conflicts must be set aside in order for your brothers to serve God faithfully, and you did all you could to bring about the resolution of these conflicts.
Please do all you can to bring my petitions before God!
You did a lot to restore peace and unity to your religious order. You sought every opportunity to bring your brothers to deeper holiness.
Pray for me, that I may seek to make peace amidst conflicts around me in my life. Pray that I may take every opportunity to help others reach greater holiness.

With loving provident care, O Mother Most Amiable, you covered us with your Scapular as a shield of defense against the Evil One. Through your assistance, may we bravely struggle against the powers of evil, always open to your Son Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Our Lady of Mount Carmel, glorious Queen of Angels, channel of God's tenderest mercy to man, refuge and advocate of sinners, with confidence I prostrate myself before thee, beseeching thee to obtain for me. In return I solemnly promise to have recourse to thee in all my trials, sufferings and temptations, and I shall do all in my power to induce others to love and reverence thee and to invoke thee in all their needs. I thank thee for the numberless blessings which I have received from thy mercy and powerful intercession. Continue to be my shield in danger, my guide in life, and my consolation at the hour of death. Amen.
