TRUE LOVE IS SURRENDER
“ ‘I thirst' has no meaning unless through total surrender I give all to Jesus.”
“Today I will do whatever Jesus wants. And you will see that oneness. That surrender to God, to use you without consulting you. That accepting is a great sign of union with God. Holiness is that total surrender to God. Totus tuus. Completely yours. Totus tuus. Completely surrendered. Very clear! Complete. That accepting whatever He gives. That giving whatever He takes. You need much love to be able to see the hand of God.”
“I only want to do what God wants. Let us have the courage to do what God wants, even if it is difficult.”
“Often you see small and big wires, new and old, cheap and expensive, lined up. Unless and until the current passes through them, there will be no light. The wire is you and me. The current is God. We have the power to let the current pass through us, use us, and produce the Light of the World—Jesus; or refuse to be used and allow darkness to spread. Our Lady was the most wonderful wire. She allowed God to fill her to the brim, so by her surrender—‘Be it done to me according to your word'—she became full of grace; and naturally the moment she was filled by this current, the grace of God, she went in haste to Elizabeth's house to connect the wire, John, to the current, Jesus.”

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be...
PRAYER TO ST. TERESA OF CALCUTTA: Saint Teresa of Calcutta, longing to love Jesus as He had never been loved before, you gave yourself entirely to Him, refusing Him nothing. In union with the Immaculate Heart of Mary, you accepted His call to satiate His infinite thirst for love and souls and become a carrier of His love to the poorest of the poor. With loving trust and total surrender you fulfilled His will, witnessing to the joy of belonging totally to Him. You became so intimately united to Jesus your crucified Spouse that He deigned to share with you the agony of His Heart as He hung upon the Cross.
Saint Teresa, you promised to continuously bring the light of love to those on earth; pray for us that we also may long to satiate the burning thirst of Jesus by loving Him ardently, sharing in His sufferings joyfully, and serving Him wholeheartedly in our brothers and sisters, especially those most unloved and unwanted. Amen.

Immaculate daughter of Saints Joachim and Anne, you are the door to the Eternal Word who made you the source of His Sacred Blood. You are a model for all Christian sons and daughters. Pray for me today that the feast of your birth may give great joy to my soul and that I may have a greater devotion to your Son's Precious Blood.

3⃣ NOVENA IN HONOUR OF OUR LADY OF VELANKANNI (GOOD HEALTH)
DAY 3 - SEPTEMBER 1
Hail Mother of our love! You are our model of holy life. Renouncing all earthly affection, you consecrated yourself to God and spent your days in prayer in His Temple. But we who have been consecrated through baptism have not been faithful to our baptismal promise. Often we have failed and became unfaithful children. We have sought after the worldly amusements: We have offended our Divine Redeemer by our sins. Immaculate Mother who brought the Divine Mercy to us sinners, we regret for all our sins and beg through you for God's mercy and pardon. Stretch out your loving arms towards us, that we may drink the living water of Christ within your embrace.

I desire by this novena, which I now offer in your honour, to prove the lively confidence I have in your intercession. Accept it, I beseech you, in honour of that supernatural love and joy, with which your Immaculate Heart was replenished during the abode of your divine Son in your womb, in veneration of which, I offer you the sentiments of my heart. Amen.

4⃣ NOVENA TO ST. NICHOLAS OF TOLENTINO
DAY 1 - SEPTEMBER 1
O good Jesus, mystically present upon our altars, renewing the oblation of Calvary for the sake of our salvation, we kneel in silence before thee, as Mary and John and Thy Blessed Mother knelt in the silence of that awful moment when the Angel of Dead spread his wings around the cross. We come to plead with Thee while our thoughts follow Thee down from Calvary to the prisons where the Holy Souls waited through the years of Thy coming.
We plead, dear Jesus, for the release of the poor souls now detained in the prisons of purgatory. We plead through the memory of that moment when Thy agonizing Heart ceased to beat on the cross. We plead through the merits of the angels that serve Thee, through the merits of the Saints who surround Thee, through the merits of Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, the efficacy of whose great charity towards the poor souls is our encouragement to approach Thy Divine Bounty.
In Thy compassion and mercy for those whom Thou hast redeemed, deign, once again, through the intercession of Saint Nicholas, to open the gates of purgatory that the heavens may see the passing of multitudes to eternal happiness.
