Holy Virgin of Virgins, pray for us.
Saint Roque, generous despiser of the world, pray for us.
Saint Roque, faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst sacrifice thy goods and thyself for the poor, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst continually bear the mortification of Jesus Christ, pray for us.
Saint Roque, whose heart was burning with charity, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst seek contempt for love of Jesus Christ, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst expose thy life to solace the sick, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst serve the plague-stricken with heroic courage and zeal, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst arrest the ravages of the plague by the Sign of the Cross, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst save from the contagion of several famous cities, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who was finally attacked by the plague, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst become a model of patience for the plague-stricken, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst recover thy health by a miracle, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who, notwithstanding thy innocence, was covered with opprobrium and put in chains by fellow citizens, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who didst end thy life in prison like a malefactor, pray for us.
Saint Roque, who was efficaciously invoked against the plague by the Church in a Council, pray for us.
Saint Roque, crowned by Jesus Christ with glory and honor, pray for us.

LET US PRAY: Grant, O Lord, we beseech Thee, that the intercession of Saint Roque, Thy Confessor, may be favorable and turn away from us the scourge of Thy wrath, and may reconcile us to thy Divine Majesty. We ask it through our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

PRAYER: Dear mendicant Pilgrim, you once took care of sufferers from the plague and were always ready to help others by kind service and fervent prayers. You yourself had no home and you died in a dungeon. No wonder countless invalids have confidently invoked your help. Please grant a cure to this patient, (Name), and help us all become spiritually healthy.

O great St. Roque, deliver us, we beseech thee, from the scourges of God; through thy intercession, preserve our bodies from contagious diseases, and our souls from the contagion of sin. Obtain for us salubrious air; but, above all, purity of heart. Assist us to make good use of health, to bear sufferings with patience; and, after thy example, to live in the practice of penance and charity, that we may one day enjoy the happiness which thou has merited by thy virtues. Amen.
