1⃣ NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF ASSUMPTION

DAY 6 - AUGUST 11

Mary, our dear Mother and mighty Queen, take and receive our poor hearts with all their freedom and desires, all the love and all the virtues and graces with which they may be adorned. All we are and all we might be, all we have and hold in the order of nature as well as of grace, we have received from God through your loving intercession. Help us dear Mother to surrender to God all that we have including our petitions.

(State your intentions here…)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

Our Lady and Queen, into your gentle hands, we entrust all, that it may be returned to its noble origin. Amen.

O Queen Assumed into Heaven: Pray for us!

2⃣ NOVENA TO ST. ROQUE

DAY 5 - AUGUST 11

Glorious Saint Roque, who, when attacked by the plague, wert driven from the hospital and forced to take refuge in a forest, where thou hadst no food but the bread which a faithful dog brought to thee from the table of his master day by day, until miraculously cured didst resume thy homeward journey, obtain for us, we beseech thee, from God, the virtue of patience in all the trials of this life, that we may obtain the recompense and reward of them in the next.

(State your intentions here…)

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be…

PRAYER: Dear mendicant Pilgrim, you once took care of sufferers from the plague and were always ready to help others by kind service and fervent prayers. You yourself had no home and you died in a dungeon. No wonder countless invalids have confidently invoked your help. Please grant a cure to this patient, (Name), and help us all become spiritually healthy.

O great St. Roque, deliver us, we beseech thee, from the scourges of God; through thy intercession, preserve our bodies from contagious diseases, and our souls from the contagion of sin. Obtain for us salubrious air; but, above all, purity of heart. Assist us to make good use of health, to bear sufferings with patience; and, after thy example, to live in the practice of penance and charity, that we may one day enjoy the happiness which thou has merited by thy virtues. Amen.

St. Roque: Pray for us!
