AM I A GOOD COMPANY FOR JESUS?
You know the old saying, ‘Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are' ? Well, Jesus had the strangest set of friends - Levi (a hated tax-collector), Simon the Zealot (a revolutionary), women in prostitution and other ‘public sinners'. Maybe I'm not such bad company for Jesus, after all!
TODAY'S PRAYER: Jesus, you once said, ‘I've come not to call the virtuous but sinners to repentance.' During your ministry, you sat and ate with sinners. This practice of yours gives me great hope that your love will bid me welcome too! Amen.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, the needs of your people open your heart in love for each of us. You care for us when we are lost, sympathize with us in loneliness, and comfort us in mourning; you are closest to us where we are weakest. You love us most when we love ourselves least; you forgive us most when we forgive ourselves least; and you call us to spread your love in whatever way we can.
Lord Jesus, your heart is moved with compassion when we are suffering, when we need your help, and when we pray for each other. I ask you to listen to my prayer during this Novena, and grant what I ask.

2⃣ NOVENA TO THE IMMACULATE HEART OF MARY
DAY 6 - JUNE 4
RIGHT BALANCE
Immaculate Mother of God, conceived without Original Sin, never touched by the slightest stain of sin, "tainted nature's solitary boast," we the beloved of thy Immaculate Heart come to thee on this sixth day of this Novena to pray for the grace of Right Balance.
O Spotless Virgin-Mother, Mother of God and our Mother by grace, obtain for us right balance as a foundation of candor, or tranquility, of clearness and holiness. May there be no duplicity in our thoughts and actions. Obtain for us a right balance in the order of our interior life, O Immaculate Heart of Mary, according to the well-ordered interior life thou lived in the perfection of holiness when thou lived on earth. Lead us to grow in holiness with a balance of spirituality so that our wills here below are in harmony with the Kingdom of God in heaven, where thou, as Queen and Mother reign with Jesus Christ thy Son Who is our King, and our Lord.
May we avoid all extremes, as thou did, O Mother of God the Son, Daughter of God the Father, and Spouse of the Holy Spirit. Thou were subject to thy loving husband St. Joseph and to the laws of God. May we never be more Catholic than the Church, nor less Catholic than this same Holy Church thy Son Jesus Christ founded. May we seek to live a Catholic life and follow the teachings of the Church in faith and morals without compromise in a harmonious balance. May there be no conflict between what we believe and what we do. May we not demand of others what we decline to practice ourselves. May we never compromise right principles by subtle reasoning. May our speech be "Yes" when we mean "Yes" and "No" when we mean "No." (Mt. 5:37)

PRAYER: Obtain for us by thy powerful intercession, O Holy Mediatrix of all Graces, a right balance in living the spirit of poverty, chastity and obedience according to our state in life, so that the wiles of Satan never succeed in getting us to succumb to the spirit of the world, the weakness of the flesh, or the pride of life. Send forth thy Holy Angels, O Queen of Angels, Cause of our Joy, Mother of Mercy. Intercede that we be open to the glorious Spirits of Heaven who are powerful to bring right order in our lives. Amen.

DAY 5 - JUNE 4
Anthony, through your teaching and preaching you bore witness to the loving presence of God in all of creation. Now that you have come into the fullness of the kingdom, pray for us that our lives might also proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to all humanity.
PRAYER: Almighty, Eternal God, you have given your people St. Anthony as an outstanding preacher and intercessor in times of need. Grant that with his help we may follow in the example of Christian living and experience your support in all adversities. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
St. Anthony, “Seeker of the Lost” help us find what is missing in our lives, whether it be things lost, strained relationships, and for those who have drifted from the community of the Church. {pause} We are companions of St. Anthony, may we recognize his gentle guidance in a deeper relationship with the Lord Jesus and His bride, the Church, we pray:

BRIEF STORY OF ST. ANTHONY'S LIFE
ST. ANTHONY'S SHIP IS THROWN OFF COURSE IN A STORM
Having bade farewell to his beloved Africa and his missionary dreams, St. Anthony's journey of life soon encountered a new challenge. His ship was blown off course by a terrible storm on the Mediterranean. The ailing St. Anthony, lost at sea, found his “anchor” in the Lord. He surrendered himself to the holy will of God.

4⃣ 9 DAYS NOVENA TO ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA
DAY 1 - JUNE 4
O holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, thy love for God and charity for His creatures made thee worthy while on earth to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited thy word, which thou wert ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore thee to obtain for me the favor I seek in this novena (State your intention). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle; even so, thou are the Saint of miracles. O gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Infant Jesus, Who loved to be folded in thy arms, and the gratitude of my heart will always be thine.
O wonderful St. Anthony, glorious on account of the fame of your miracles, and through the condescension of Jesus in coming in the form of a little child to rest in your arms, obtain for me of His bounty the grace which I ardently desire from the depths of my heart .
